To use RSS you need a reader and you can get them free from Google, Yahoo and Bloglines, among many. When you visit a website that offers RSS you can then feed new articles or new threads to comments that you have subscribed to directly to your feed reader. It saves you having to visit all those sites and it saves you having to go through your e-mail to get the latest news.
It doesn’t take much effort to set up and it is not technically difficult to do. Just think of it as your friendly and reliable paper boy or girl (and also this way your newspaper won’t get wet and your dog won’t chew it up).
To use RSS you will need an RSS Reader and you can get it for free with Google Reader. The link will take you to a page that will take you through what you need to do get a reader and to start subscribing to RSS feeds.
